Основанный Сюй Вэньлун, основателем Chi Mei Industrial, это самый частный музей и художественный музей на Тайване. Chimei Museum is a comprehensive museum with wide collections of Western art, musical instruments, weaponry and natural history. There are four exhibition rooms, one temporary exhibition gallery and a sculpture hall in the main building. As a museum for all, we hope our visitors will enjoy and cherish these timeless valuables, and find their favorites among them.
Chimei Museumは、西洋美術、楽器、武器、自然史などを幅広く取り揃えた総合博物館です。 本館には4つの展示室、1つの仮設展ギャラリー、彫刻ホールがあります。 すべての人のための博物館として、私たちは訪問者がこれらの時代を超越する貴重品を楽しんで大切にし、それらのお気に入りを見つけることを願っています。

Anping Fort
(安平古堡)
안핑 성
Anping Fort was built to prevent the invasion from the British Empire during the Opium War. Anping Fort is built during the Dutch occupation in 1624 on the foundations of the Dutch stronghold named Fort Zeelandia. Although reconstruction took place, the remnants of Zeelandia, a red-brick wall and a Banyan tree, are still maintained at Anping Fort and are classified as a class one historical monument.
アヘン戦争中に大英帝国からの侵略を防ぐために建設されました。 安平砦は、1624年にオランダの占領期間中、オランダの拠点であるツェランディア砦(Fort Zeelandia)の土台に建設されました。 再建は行われたが、赤レンガの壁とバンヤンの木であるツェランディアの遺跡はまだ安平砦で維持されており、クラス1の歴史的モニュメントとして分類されている。

Anping Old Street
(安平老街)

Anping Old Street is the oldest among the old streets in Tainan. It is the first established merchant street in the area. This street has little shops and food stalls that cover a full range of souvenirs and handmade products of different prices. The roads of Anping Old Street are rather narrow and winding, visitors may either walk or ride a bike to explore the every little stories of each old building.

Anping Tree House
(安平樹屋)
It was the original warehouse for British trading company Tait & Co. Anping was one of the harbors in Taiwan which was opened to international trade. The warehouse was abandoned,the banyan tree around it started to spread its branches and roots around the building.The warehouse was finally opened to the public in 2004 as the Anping Tree House.

Lu-Er-Men Sheng-Mu Temple
(鹿耳門聖母廟)
It is the world’s largest Mazu temple, occupying forty hectares of land and featuring a towering and majestic appearance comparable to that of ancient Chinese palaces. The temple contains artifacts such as the flexible Mazu statue made during the Ming dynasty. The Luermen Mazu Temple subsequently became one of the locations to best illustrate Koxinga’s accomplishments in developing Taiwan.

Tainan Confucius Temple
(台南孔子廟)
The temple is more than three centuries old and is taken care of extremely well. The modern history of Taiwan through all of its political turmoil and modern development are written all over the storied walls of this beautiful temple complex. Here you can really appreciate a bit of peace and quiet in Taiwan's first place of higher education.

Fuzhong Street
(府中街)
Just across Nanmen Road from the Confucian Temple, you will see a large stone arch. It is the Pan Gao Stone Arch ( 泮宮石坊), which was built in 1749 and once served as an entrance to the temple. It is now the entrance to Fuzhong Street, a European-style pedestrian street that makes for a nice little stroll. It is populated with cafes, eateries, tea houses, and young couples getting their wedding photographs done.
